I am committed to providing professional law enforcement services and promoting community safety throughout Strafford County. With 25 years of dedicated service, I offer the leadership and decisive action needed to support our county police departments and protect our residents.
A Legacy of Service
With 25 years of law enforcement service in Strafford County—as a Milton patrolman and Chief of Police—I have a proven record of leadership and action. Under my leadership, Milton’s police department became one of the first in New Hampshire to use body cameras in 2012. Because effective law enforcement depends on teamwork, I am committed to leading by example with hands-on leadership for our deputies and fostering collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, in service to Strafford County.

As Sheriff, I would safeguard every Strafford County resident by strategically allocating resources, expanding proactive law enforcement, and maintaining the Sheriff’s Department’s traditional county responsibilities.
Strategic Response
My approach would combine responsible management of the Sheriff’s Department budget, data-driven decisions, and hands-on leadership with deputies and collaboration with county police departments to keep Strafford County prepared for any challenge.
Collaborative Action
As Sheriff, I would be an apolitical, independent voice for Strafford County because public safety transcends party lines. I would collaborate with local police departments, the County Attorney, community leaders, and federal partners. Working with the County Commissioners and County Delegation, I would develop a balanced, responsible budget that strengthens Strafford County, protects our shared future, and secures every available revenue source. My decisions would be guided by public safety—not party affiliation or political ideology—and I would oppose partisan decision-making regardless of which party promotes it.
